Constant speed drive&AC Generator Adapter was created by dynamics
Mark, would you mind explaining how the CSD&GEN Adapter (P/N:F70333-24 or F70333-25) which is produced by Boeing is used for removing the generator?

It's basically a transmission jack adapter. The CSD is heavy. The adapter is raised into place by a hand/foot pump vertical jack. The adapter is shaped in such a way as to match the contour of the CSD. A large strap is used to hold the CSD to the adapter. Once finally secured..... the CSD can be pulled straight back from the gearbox. Same way going back in with the replacement unit.
