Mark, there are two overhaul items as per B737-300 Maintenance Planning Data, first one in part 6 that is categorized as a system maintenance "remove MLG for overhaul" and another one in part 8 that is categorized as a component maintenance "MLG assembly including trunnion link, shock strut......".
Do you have any idea on how these two items may differ?
