  • A couple of dumb-ass mistakes were encountered during the troubleshooting of this problem.

First..... I left my meter and leads at home. I had to use a manual ranging meter and not knowing the sensor's proper resistance, I had the meter set to 200 Ohms. With this range set, 8K Ohms is read as an open. I was seeing "two" bad loops and that just didn't make sense.

It was only after I moved the selection to 20K that I was able to get the proper readings.

I'm "not" a fan of manual ranging meters for just this reason.

I had to use safety wire as test leads at the card. I'm not big on doing this either.

A Decade Box would of been useful as a substitute for sensor resistance simulation.
